Baked Spaghetti (Puzghetti)

And oh!  It doesn’t last long!

Basically, this recipe is your favorite spaghetti recipe that is simply mixed together and topped with Mozarella and cream cheese. It is then baked to deliciousness. It truly is a comfort food and hard to stop eating!

Cooked Spaghetti (you can use other pastas, but WHY?)

Lotsa mozzarella cheese

1 8 oz. block of cream cheese

Quick Sauce:

1 lb of ground beef or Italian sausage, or both

1 large can of diced tomatoes

1 med can tomato sauce

1 can tomato soup

3 cloves of garlic minced

Pinch of oregano or Italian seasoning

Half of an onion, minced

¼ cup grated parmesan (optional, but yum)

Brown the meat mixture and add onions and garlic. Once onions are soft, add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for at least a half hour. Mix sauce with cooked pasta. Pour into a large buttered baking dish. Top with broken up bits of cream cheese and then cover with mozzarella…..

…..cover, don’t just sprinkle the cheese. Bake at 350, just till cheese is all oozy goozy melty messy.
